We make a journey from the definition of entropy and it's role from statistical mechanics and information theory to ergodic theory of dynamical systems.

报告人简介：

Ali Tahzibi博士期间师从著名动力系统专家、国际数学家联盟前主席Jacob Palis，现在是巴西圣保罗大学教授。Ali Tahzibi教授的研究方向为动力系统及遍历论，在部分双曲系统和非一致双曲系统的SRB测度及遍历性等问题取得了一些重要进展，在Duke Math. J、Adv. Math.、CMP、TAMS等重要数学或数学物理期刊上发表论文数十篇。Ali Tahzibi教授也曾担任巴西数学会秘书长等职务。
